I decided to become a therapist because of my own personal experiences throughout my life, and witnessing how my life, perspectives, and outlooks changed when I sought out help for myself personally. Throughout my own journey, I have seen the power of counseling in real-time, within myself and within others. These experiences led me to the field of counseling, where I continued to grow my clinical skillset through working in Private Practice and seeing clients individually, and working at a residential treatment center that emphasized an attachment-style approach to counseling. In our sessions, you can expect them to be uniquely tailored to who you are as a person and your needs. This means your voice is important, and our sessions are the time for you to freely express yourself and explore your concerns, goals, feelings, thoughts, and emotions without judgment, and instead, you will be met with positive regard, empathy, openness, compassion, and a desire for understanding. My sessions can be more structured or more free-flowing depending on what works better for you. I look forward to working with you!
