I aspire to become a counselor because I want to create a safe, affirming, gentle space where people can show up as they are and feel authentically held in their experiences. I value the profound humanity of ‘holding space’ and believe that people deserve to be listened to and accepted, allowing them to breathe and reconnect with themselves. In our work together, I take a person-centered approach, and my hope is that the person feels seen, supported, and free to explore at a pace that feels comfortable to them.
