Dr. Stacey Krauss, Psy.D., ABPP joined the Transitions Counseling and Consulting family in 2021 after 10 years of active-duty service as a psychologist in the U.S. Army. During her military service, Dr. Krauss worked directly with multiple combat units from the 10th Mountain Division, including completing a deployment to Afghanistan in 2013. Dr. Krauss also served for 5 years at Fort Bragg, leading the largest mental health service in the U.S. Army. She was awarded a Bronze Star, a Combat Action Badge, and 3 Meritorious Service Medals among other honors in recognition of her service.
Her professional experience has included executive-level management roles leading diverse behavioral health teams with the Department of Defense as well as designing and directing nationally accredited training programs for future psychologists.
She is a diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology with board certifications in both Clinical Psychology and Business and Organizational Consulting Psychology. Dr. Krauss also holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Clinically, Dr. Krauss specializes in psychological assessment for children and adults. As a 10- year combat veteran, she is particularly interested in providing excellent healthcare to service members, veterans, and military family members. She also enjoys presenting and teaching on a range of topics including cultural competence in working with the military community and the use of data to support strong treatment outcomes.
