I was inspired to pursue a career in therapy through my work with families and youth in the foster care system. Listening to their stories and witnessing the challenges they faced, particularly the unmet need for accessible mental health support, motivated me to enter the field. My goal is to one day provide therapeutic services that support and empower individuals and families navigating similar experiences. I primarily utilize a client-centered approach which emphasizes fostering the therapeutic relationship to build mutual respect, and a safe, comfortable space for my clients which is the important aspect in counseling. Additionally, I believe in empowering clients to take the reins in their mental health journey as they are the expert in their own life experiences while I walk alongside them for support and guidance.
