My experiences as a detention officer and CASA advocate showed me how deeply children and teens need safe, supportive spaces, which inspired me to become a therapist. Later, serving as the primary therapist in an adolescent substance use program confirmed my calling to walk alongside teens and families through life’s most difficult seasons. These experiences shape how I show up in the therapy room today with warmth, honesty, and compassion, striving to be a steady source of light while helping clients build the tools and resilience they need for lasting change. My ethnic background is Hispanic, and this perspective also informs the way I connect with and support the individuals and families I work with.
Clinically, I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach that draws from CBT, DBT, and solution-focused techniques to help clients develop practical skills while feeling supported and empowered in their healing journey
