I became a therapist because I enjoy helping people develop skills to improve their lives, and I love seeing the progress they make. I was drawn to this field after being raised by a nurse and exploring different roles in mental health before committing to therapy. I enjoy creating a safe space to talk, grow, and build the skills needed to become a better version of yourself. I like to use talk-based, solution-focused, and DBT-informed approaches to support clients as they process their experiences and move forward. My ethnic background is African American and Pacific Islander, and this perspective informs the way I show up in my work.
